Supporting you through the messy, the meaningful, and everything in between—sometimes with a laugh along the way.
Hi, I’m a registered social worker with over 30 years of experience supporting people—and I still truly love what I do.
I see counselling as a way to take care of yourself and your well-being. Life can be messy, complicated, and at times overwhelming. Having someone in your corner to listen, reflect, and help you sort things through can make a real difference.
I aim to meet people where they are, with curiosity, respect, and a sense of ease. Very little surprises me, and I’m comfortable having difficult conversations. I believe each of us is the expert in our own life. While I haven’t walked your exact path, I’m here to walk alongside you as you figure things out in your own way.
I’m skilled in supporting people through life transitions—whether planned or unexpected—and I bring a compassionate, grounded approach to times of change. Much of my work focuses on grief, which can come from many kinds of loss, including the death of a loved one, relationship changes, health challenges, or other major life shifts.
On a personal note, I’m a mom to two great adult children and have been married to my husband for over 30 years—we still like each other, which I think says a lot. I love being outdoors and feel so grateful for all the beauty that Vernon has to offer. I truly believe that alongside doing the hard work, it’s just as important to make room for joy, laughter, and a little bit of play.

Samantha Becker graduated with Honours of Distinction from the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada in Edmonton, AB. She brings a unique and integrative treatment approach, combining her extensive training to effectively address the body’s needs and restore balance.
Her approach focuses on identifying the root cause of dysfunction—not just the site of pain. Using hands-on manual osteopathy, neurofascial techniques, and advanced movement assessment, Samantha works with the body’s nervous system, fascia, joints, and visceral structures to restore balance and function.
With an advanced certification from ALTIS The Coaching Eye (with Dan Pfaff), Samantha brings an elite-level understanding of biomechanics, movement efficiency, and performance demands. This allows her to assess how an individual moves, compensates, and loads their body—bridging the gap between therapy and performance.

Born and raised in the Okanagan, I’ve always had a deep connection to nature, movement, and wellness. Growing up playing volleyball and basketball—and spending weekends dirt biking—I developed an early appreciation for the importance of staying active and taking care of the body.
My passion for holistic health led me to graduate from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy (OVCMT) in November 2021, becoming a Registered Massage Therapist shortly after. In my practice, I strive to create effective, personalized treatments that integrate a variety of techniques including trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. Having completed my Yin yoga teacher training, I also enjoy guiding clients through stretches and mobility work as part of their home care to support long-term wellness.
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me in the mountains- camping, dirt biking, hiking, or spending quality time with my family.
Whether you’re seeking relief from an injury, looking for ongoing maintenance, or simply wanting to support your overall well-being, I look forward to supporting you on your wellness journey !
